Futures Golf Outing is an Iron Away

By Nicholas J. Vendikos

Fore!

As we begin spring here in Brooklyn and Queens, our golf committee, led by Clarissa Elgarten, Bill Hogan and Thomas Flood, as well as my Futures colleagues, are hard at work making the Angels on the Fairway Golf Outing the best ever.

With the past success of this event, let me tell you that isn’t an easy task!

Held, once again, at one of the most prominent country clubs on the East Coast – The Creek – this event has raised over $4.7 million since its inception in 2004.

Slated for Thursday, May 14, foursomes begin at $6,000 and include breakfast, lunch, and what most agree to be the greatest golf dinner east of Pebble Beach! Of course, we have sponsorships available, an incredible live and silent auction and some special guests (stay tuned for the announcement). Please click here for our official invitation.

However, this outing is more than just an epic 18 holes, and a first-class experience. It is about the Catholic school students entrusted to our care.

It is about kids named Maria, Jennifer, Mark, Steve, Rosemarie, Juan, Lucia, John, Catherine, Stephanie and Joseph, to name just a few, who count on Futures In Education to assist their families in providing them an excellent Catholic education.

While we have the leadership and the hard work mentality on our side, we are only successful with you. We need you!

So I ask you – golfers and non-golfers alike – please support the Angels on the Fairway Golf Outing on May 14.

Please contact Erica Oleske at eoleske@cfbq.org or at 718-965-7308 ext. 1605. I look forward to personally thanking you at The Creek!
