Monsignor Gigantiello’s September Letter

Dear Friends in Christ:

As you continue to enjoy the summer weather and transition into fall, I wish to extend my greetings and prayers to you and your family for a safe and enjoyable back to school season.

However, just because the temperature falls and days become shorter, we at Futures in Education do not stop providing the support needed by our students in the Diocese of Brooklyn. The staff of Futures in Education has begun to engage numerous donors updating them on our progress over the last year, and asking them to once again pledge their support as Angels and major gift donors in preparation for the coming school year.

Each year we diligently work to meet the need of all the families who apply for financial assistance. However, our ability to provide these students with the gift of education is only possible through your generosity. We take seriously our obligation to stand by and support these families who, without your help, cannot afford to send their children to the school of their choice. Therefore, we must continue to surpass the goals set last year and find new ways to develop even more support for the future.

Once again I would like to take this opportunity to thank you who generously offer your time, talents and treasures and support the work of Futures in Education. If you have already supported Futures in Education this year, I thank you for your generosity. If you have yet to do so, I hope that you may reflect on the gifts God has given you and find a way to give back with the gift of a Catholic education by visiting www.FuturesinEducation.org, by calling 718-965-7308, or by using the enclosed envelope. I commend all of you for being committed to our cause and the students we serve.

Thank you and please know that you will be remembered in my prayers – please remember me in yours!

In Christ’s Peace,

Rev. Monsignor Jamie J. Gigantiello

Vicar for Development

R.C. Diocese of Brooklyn
