As soon as you receive your award notice, please upload the student’s photo!  

Photos should be submitted no later than September 13, 2024.

Participants of the Be an Angel to a Student program must submit a new student photograph every year.

This personal touch puts a face to the name of the student for your child’s Angel donor. Please follow these guidelines for the student photo:

• The student photo can be attached to the All About Me letter (and submitted together); if you submit your photo on the All About Me document, then you do not have to resubmit. 
• Photos must be appropriate; preferably in school uniform and include head and shoulders.
• Photos do not have to be professional school photos; you can take them yourself
• Unacceptable photos: group photos, filters, no “hoodies” or “selfies”.
• Student photos must be color; no black and white photos and no copies
• Do not email, fax or mail your photo to Futures in Education. Upload to FACTS.

Next steps:

1. Download the template
2. You can either take a picture of  your student and save or you can “copy & paste” a photo of your student onto the template.
3. Either way, we must have a name on the photo/template so we can identify the student.

5. And then click here to log into your FACTS Financial Aid application:  FACTS Financial Aid.

The document is to be uploaded  to your FACTS financial aid application no later than September 13, 2024; however, we encourage you to upload as soon as possible. 

Reminders via text, calls and email will be sent until we receive your document. 

Unfortunately,  failure to upload required documents to FACTS will result in removal of the Angel scholarship and the payment to your school will not be released. Thank you for your ongoing cooperation.

Los participantes del program “Be an Angel to a Student” deben enviar una nueva fotografía del estudiante cada año. Este toque personal pone una cara al nombre del estudiante para el ángel donante de su hijo. Siga estas instrucciones para la foto del estudiante:

• La foto del estudiante se puede ajuntar con la carta de Todo sobre mi y ser enviadas juntas. Si envía su foto de estudiante en el documento Todo sobre mí, no tiene que volver a enviarla aquí.
• Las fotos de los estudiantes deben ser en color; en blanco y negro (o copias) no salen con claridad y no son aceptables.
• No envíe su foto por correo electrónico, fax o correo postal a Futures in Education. Subir a FACTS.
• Las fotos no tienen que ser fotos profesionales de la escuela; puedes tomarlos tu mismo
• Las fotos deben ser apropiadas; preferiblemente con uniforme escolar e incluya la cabeza y los hombros.
• Fotos inaceptables: fotos grupales, filtros, no “sudaderas con capucha” ni “selfies”.

Próximos pasos:

1. Descarga la plantilla
2. Puede tomar una foto de su estudiante y guardarla o puede “copiar y pegar” una foto de su estudiante en la plantilla.
3. De cualquier manera, debemos tener un nombre en la foto/plantilla para que podamos identificar al estudiante.

5. Y luego haga clic aquí para iniciar sesión en su solicitud de ayuda financiera de FACTS: Ayuda Financiera  FACTS.

 

El documento debe cargarse en su solicitud de ayuda financiera de FACTS a más tardar el 13 de septiembre de 2024; sin embargo, le recomendamos que lo cargue lo antes posible. Se enviarán recordatorios por mensaje de texto, llamadas y correo electrónico hasta que recibamos su documento. Desafortunadamente, si no se cargan los documentos requeridos en FACTS, se eliminará la beca Ángel y no se entregará el pago a su escuela. Gracias por su continua cooperación.
