The “Singing Nun,” Sister Cristina Scuccia, who rose to fame on Italy’s 2014 season of The Voice visited the Diocese of Brooklyn yesterday, November 3, to help promote Futures in Education’s Spirit of Christmas Concert being held on Monday, December 12, at Lincoln Center. For the first time ever in the United States, Sr. Cristina will perform live as a special guest to help Futures raise money for Catholic education alongside the New York Tenors.

For her brief visit to New York City, Sr. Cristina appeared and performed on FOX 5’s Good Day New York accompanied by Msgr. Jamie Gigantiello, Vicar for Development for the Diocese of Brooklyn and Msgr. Steven Aguggia, Judicial Vicar for the Diocese of Brooklyn. Click HERE to watch the clip!
