Futures' Raises Over $1
Million

The children along with restaurateur,
Joe Bastianich and future Hall of Famer, Mike Piazza took
center stage while 500 people contributed their time and their resources to
the cause of Catholic education at the November 5,
2008 Futures in Education Foundation Annual Scholarship Celebration.
The night began with a choir from Our Lady of Guadalupe
School singing God Bless America.

On September
27th, 2008, TheSchool of
Education of
St.
John’s
University proudly
presented the Diocese of Brooklyn’s Futures in Education
Foundation with the Centennial Medal. In attendance at the
ceremony were Futures Corporate Board members, Monsignor John
J. Bracken, Mr. Charles B. McQuade and Ms. Peg Kelly
representing Futures during this honorable experience.

The weather may
have been a little chilly but there were nothing but warm
hearts and happy faces at this years’ 9th Annual
FriendRaiser. From the warm welcome of Msgr. Bracken and
wonderful prayer by Bishop Guy Sansaricq, the evening started
off with a perfect example of what Futures in Education
Foundation works so hard for…..our children.
