Susan F. Altamore Carusi

Susan F. Altamore Carusi is the Executive Vice President of Big Guy Foundation, a family foundation that provides academic grants to worthy individuals. Prior to this she was the Teen Court Coordinator a the Glen Cove City Court in Glen Cove, NY for six years before retiring in 2006. She supervised and administered the Teen Court program and trained local high school students to act as judges, jurors and attorneys at sentencing hearings for teenage defendants accused of committing misdemeanors and violations. Ms. Carusi earned a BA in English from La Salle University in 1982, an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Fordham University in 1987, and a JD with concentrations in tax and domestic relations from Fordham University School of Law in 1999. She has worked in the corporate financing area with Sequa Capital Corporation, Bank of America and Debevoise & Plimpton, and has also held positions with Union Bank of Switzerland and Bantam Doubleday Dell. She serves on the boards of Big Guy Foundation, La Salle University, Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club, and Unfailing Love Ministries. She lives in Mill Neck, NY with her husband Bruce and has four children, Alison, Jamie, Sean and Kelly.
