Over 2,700 guests gathered at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall on Monday, December 12, for Futures in Education’s Spirit of Christmas Concert, raising $1 million in scholarships to benefit inner-city students attending Catholic grammar schools in Brooklyn and Queens.

The New York Tenors: Andy Cooney, Christopher Macchio and Daniel Rodriguez, opened the evening with the Hibernian Festival Singers. Following the Tenors, “Singing Nun” Sister Cristina Scuccia, 2014 winner of Italy’s version of The Voice, performed for the first time in the United States! Sacred Hearts – St. Stephen Children’s Choir from Carroll Gardens, was invited to perform with Sr. Cristina on stage singing, “Tu Scendi Dalle Stele.”
